Chapter8highways is a 3M™ Scotchprint® Approved Graphics Manufacturer, assuring you of the finest quality and long lasting materials at all times.

The set up of "Chevrons" is specifically designed to increase a vehicles visibilty.

The Red is designed to make the vehicle visible at night.

The Yellow is fluorescent and is highly conspicuous under all conditions including such times when light is poor such as dawn or dusk.

The contrast of the two colours together and indeed the patterning of the chevrons both help to improve the vehicles visibiity.

ORACAL™ Fluorescent Premium Cast Yellow 7510

• High Performance cast fluorescent film with high visibility when illuminated by all daylight conditions. Especially effective in twilight and bad sight conditions.

• Service live of 2 years (under vertical outdoor exposure).

• Not recommended for use in areas of petroleum spillage.

• Easy to maintain - just wash with soapy water. 

• Easy to remove.

3M™ Scotchcal™ Fluorescent Saturn Yellow 3485.

Scotchcal Fluorescent Film Series 3480 are tough cadmium-free vinyl fluorescent films which are
highly conspicuous under all daylight conditions and provide the high attention value desired under
conditions of poor visibility, particularly at dawn or dusk. These films are intended for applications to
flat surfaces without rivets.

 

3M™ Scotchlite Reflective Red 680-72

This highly durable. flexible reflective sheeting has been designed for the production of striking high visibility markings which have the same appearance in the daytime as they do at night. It is ideal for use on all flat surfaces ( without rivets) and has a warranted performance life of 5-8 years.

Both Chapter 8 and non-Chapter 8 kits are supplied using Oracle fluorescent Yellow. 3M fluorescent is available as an optional extra. Please state at time of ordering if you require that option.

We only use 3M Diamond Grade.

Please ensure we have all of the relevant details of your vehicle prior to ordering.

We prefer to send De-badged kits wherever possible. This is because the manufacturers of these Vehicle are not always consistant with their positioning of Vehicle Badges. We may need more information from you if you do not want your kits de-badged.

Reflexite® VC612 Flexibright™ is a tough weather resistant product designed for rugged outdoor use for livery applications on emergency services vehicles. The material is die cuttable and plotter cuttable, and easy to apply onto smooth painted or unpainted vehicle surfaces. The material does not need edge sealing, and is designed to be especially applicator user friendly and flexible, with potentially single piece removability and the possibility to template to far fewer pieces than other prismatic livery films. This allows for damage repairs to be completed quickly.

Reflexite® VC 612 Daybright livery films are soft, flexible and highly visible at night from more than 500 metres away and greatly increases visibility during bad conditions such as rain and fog
Fluorescent colours ensure vehicle conspicuity during daytime, dusk and dawn.

Reflexite® VC 612 Flexibright™ is composed of cube corner (microprism) retroreflective elements integrally bonded to a flexible, smooth-surfaced tough and weather resistant UV stabilized polymeric film. The prism surfaces are coated with a vacuum deposition of aluminium to provide a mirror surface to the prism facets. The resulting material is not more than 0,45 mm thick, and comes with an aggressive high-tack pressure sensitive adhesive.

Reflexite® VC 612 Flexibright™ is available in silver, yellow, red, blue, green, fluorescent lime, fluorescent yellow and fluorescent orange. Available as complete Kits or by the Roll/Metre. POA.
